Michael has been a student of percussion for over 30 years, and teaching percussion for nearly 10 years. With a deep respect for the history and tradition of the instruments, he shares his passion for the cultural background of rhythms with his students. He is trained in Therapeutic Sound and has been playing sound meditations locally with Sandra since 2012. He plays and hand-crafts instruments such as Djembe drums, Kamale N'gonis, Koras, Monochords and Native American-style flutes.
Drum tuning/tightening and re-heading services

Michael's process for drum creation & re-heading takes several hours and incorporates many years of learning not only the process, but the spiritual relevance behind all that his teachers have shared with him. A lot of thought, intention, and positive energy goes into each drum he comes into contact with. Order a custom drum with a pre-paid deposit. A unique drum will be created for you, with ropes and fabrics that match your personality.
